end endangered species act abuse

The Permian Basin is among the most prolific oil and natural gas producing regions in the country, yet this region is under threat from restrictions related to a federal law known as the Endangered Species Act.

The ESA was enacted more than 40 years ago as a means of protecting animals and other wildlife that were at risk of extinction. Unfortunately, today the ESA is often used by activist groups to further their agenda of stopping oil and natural gas production, with little to no benefit for species.
